CoreOps
The operations platform Gran Casa Blanca runs on: orders, stock transfers, pick & pack, finance, B2B and inventory in one role-based system wired to Shopify.
Problem
Daily operations ran across the Shopify admin, spreadsheets, chat threads and manual stock counts. Transfers between locations had no approval trail, packers worked from printed lists, finance rebuilt daily sales by hand, and nobody had a single view of where inventory actually was.
Approach
I designed and built CoreOps as a PHP 8 MVC application on MySQL 8, with Shopify as the source of truth for orders and products. Webhooks feed order and inventory events into the platform, and cron workers reconcile anything a webhook missed. Each module maps to a real team: the warehouse gets a barcode-driven pick & pack screen, finance gets the daily sales order, management gets dashboards scoped by role. Every state change is written to an audit log and surfaced through notifications.
Outcome
Teams that used to reconcile by spreadsheet now work from one shared record. Stock transfers move through request, approval, dispatch and receiving with a full trail, packing is verified by scan instead of by eye, and daily sales figures come straight from order data.
